FilmyFly Review
Sameer Vidwans (Satyaprem Ki Katha) knows this territory, and the film plays to his strengths: earnest romance, family drama with actual warmth, and comedy that comes from character rather than caricature. Kartik Aaryan is in his comfort zone and better for it, while Ananya Panday gets one of her most likeable roles. Neena Gupta and Jackie Shroff add veteran texture. It is familiar by design — a feel-good holiday release that does not try to reinvent anything, and mostly succeeds at being exactly what it is.
